For Patrick Robertson, veteran salesman from Manchester, it had been a good week. Connoisseur of hotel bars all over Asia, he’s about to leave Bangkok with a full order book, and should have known better than to fall for the beautiful woman at the bar of the Holiday Inn. When he wakes up he’s in the jungle hideout of the People’s Earth Friendly Liberation Group. They think he’s the other Patrick Robertson, the one from the International Monetary Fund. But can he escape? Of course. But he’ll need his skills as a salesman, when he’s taken across Asia on a spree of betrayal, murder, theft and impersonation.
