Molly Price is just another face in the crowd at her high school in Iowa City. Her life is as unremarkable as they come. This all changes when her boyfriend is killed under mysterious circumstances, and Molly becomes the prime suspect. Soon, she finds herself on the run with six other teens, who like Molly, have discovered they each possess a unique, paranormal ability. As they flee across the country, they are pursued by nefarious forces seeking to capture and exploit them. When three of her companions are taken from their campsite deep in the Oregon wilderness, Molly races to San Francisco searching for help to launch a perilous rescue mission. In the process, she finds herself transformed from the timid girl she once was, into a fierce fighter, battling to uncover answers and a safe haven for her friends and family.
