Every so often a 'How To' book comes along which does just what it says it is about. This is such a book by Jane Perry and is based on her experience in a variety of situatuions from Florida to the western states and in New England. It is an easily followed path to a green thumb for the neophyte and can add polish, luster and that slight edge to houseplant growers with many successes. Written in an easy to understand, non-technical prose, it well could be the 'Rosetta Stone' to success. Each illustrated chapter deals with the basics such as how to tell when to water, when and what kinds of fertilizer are best, how to assess light requirements and when and how to repot as your plants grow.
