I have tried to depict some traits in the characters that have made our country what it is today. A young man heads west to find adventure and make his fortune. A young girl grows up suffering hardship and terror. Something brings them together; whether it is fate, the hand of God, or just dumb luck, their lives become intertwined. This is a love story. It is a romantic and adventurous tale for those times when you are looking for a little escapism.
