This e-book consists of Selected Papers from the Annual Meeting of the Southern Finance Association in 2008. The SFA and its sponsors outstanding paper awards in each of the following categories: corporate finance, investments, international finance, empirical finance, and financial institutions. More than 170 papers were presented at the 2008 Annual Meeting of the Southern Finance Association. Of these, thirty finalists were selected for consideration for this publication.
