The Rose and the Sea autobiography begin with my last voyage to sea, family roots, adolescence, mid-life career transition.  The story is about exciting sea life and female accomplishments in the Maritime Industry.  One voyage in particular, “Voyage of Terror” involved an Iranian hostage.  The auto-biography will motivate young women to seek a career in the Merchant Marine.  This is a story that should be read.  Motivation: To enhance one education and to promote love, peace, and harmony among people.
