Archangels tells the story of a 24-year-old woman who graduates from college and stays with her grandparents during an interim in her life. Throughout her stay, she witnesses the transcendence her grandfather makes as he reckons his actions in war by divulging stories to her of his experiences at an age parallel to her own. He concentrates on the miracles and good that came from his service as a Captain of field artillery in General Patton's Third Army. In a time when the world is faced with much disheartening news of war and terror, Archangels illustrates miracles that continue to persist through dark times. It is a novel about a grandfather who restores faith in his granddaughter, convincing her that, despite the evil that seems to engulf the world, humankind is inherently good.
