This is the redacted version of the Mueller Report released to the public in letter size. It contains both volumes and the appendixes.
On May 17, 2017 Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert S. Mueller III, under 28 CFR § 600.1, as special counsel to take over and expand an existing FBI counterintelligence investigation into possible Russian interference in the 2016 Presidential election. The report was submitted to Attorney General William Barr on March 22, 2019 and a redacted version of the report was publicly released on April 18, 2019. It is divided into two volumes.
