Christopher anguished as he read John's suicide note.
The note made reference to the evil one among them.
Who did he mean?
Perhaps the crazy old wizard was right when he warned Christopher on that dark evening that the end was near, and God was coming for him.
The way things were going, it didn't surprise Christopher.
His marriage was in serious trouble.
He was broke.
The company he worked for was in jeopardy.
And now someone he knew had tried to kill himself.
He buried his head in his hands thinking about how it all started, and what he had to do to stop what was going to happen next...before it was too late.
He desperately needed to find Alayne.
He hadn't seen her since that night they were in the park together. Something very bizarre happened there which Christopher couldn't explain to anyone, even himself. Alayne was a ballerina and loved to dance. On that same evening, under the glow of a bright full moon, she took off her shoes and gracefully balanced atop the playground swing, before mysteriously transfiguring into someone entirely different. It wasn't Alayne anymore.
Christopher's mind went blank.
That was the last thing he remembered...
