The Wiser-Mouse Legacy was launched as a result of a lay Christian participating in his very first men's Christian retreat. It was triggered by absolute indifference to queries arising from the challenges of "authentic" Christianity. The primary question being: "If the Christian teaching and practise in our churches is so right, what makes Christians of today so ineffective, so impotent, and so utterly powerless in the face of all the spiritual principles that Jesus taught?" Most Christian religions practice what is perceived to be Bible-based pseudo-Christianity. Generally they are man-made affairs entrenched in rituals, idolisms, and soul-based emotionalism beneath an aura of tepid spirituality. There is too little evidence of the Holy Spirit being active or of Godly commitment. Scriptural truths are commonly diluted or negated, and Jesus' Word is often relegated by default to eternal hope and wishful thinking. The practise of authentic Christianity is the real-life application of the spiritual principles that Christ taught in the Scriptures. Individuals in the body of Christ, have an active on-going spiritual relationship with our heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. This liaison with God yields grace-gifted empowerment. It fully unleashes the authority and power of God. Authentic Christians are ordinary everyday people, all of whom are at different levels of spiritual growth. The Wiser-Mouse Legacy points the way for us to align ourselves effectively with that which is spiritually and scripturally correct.
