The Grand Master of Deception is a continuation of the CAUL series wherein James Markham's romance with Jennifer, the identical twin sister of his deceased CIA partner, is interrupted by a foreign master counterintelligence plot that takes Markham to the Far East and a place hidden from the world in the mountains of North China where he learns the secret of enlightenment and a method of defeating his captor's counterintelligence plans.
