A growing trend among Christians today is the establishment of home fellowships in place of the more traditional "organized" church. These home churches are attractive because they lack many of the trappings of larger, program-oriented churches. Reb Bradley is an advocate for home churches; he has observed however, that they can easily become imbalanced and even dangerous if they are not patterned closely after the New Testament model. Because too few follow the biblical model, the average home fellowship lasts no more than 2 years and ends with many broken relationships.
