This is a work of fiction written in the first person. It details the precarious development of a young man born into the remains of a coastal plantation culture that is reluctant to finish dying. He grows older and older dealing with racial, religious and philosophical issues, which he learns to live with, but not resolve. Some sex, lots of love, hate and traces of comic violence.
