In Manhattan, a role in an Off-Broadway interracial play is followed by a brief marriage to a Seminole C&W singer, attendance at the Woodstock Festival, a march on Washington, an LSD experience, sex on an oil tanker with a Welsh ships Officer, and involvement with the Womens Movement before a gradual return to academic pursuits.
