Patrick and Shea Disone develop a revolutionary combustion engine that improves its efficiency so dramatically that it threatens the government's on-going war against fossil fuels. In this dystopian future, the pair battles an increasingly authoritarian government bent on destroying capitalism and the underlying democratic principles upon which the country was founded. Bullied and threatened by federal authorities who have teamed up with a big corporate competitor, the couple fight back against the great powers in Washington.
