Michael Lin makes monumental painting installations that reconceptualize and reconfigure public spaces. Using patterns and designs appropriated from traditional Taiwanese textiles, his work decorates museum cafés, lobbies, galleries, and façades, transforming the institutional architecture of the public museum.
