The first book in the Adventures series, Grandma Terri Drives the School Bus, is a whimsical, energetic and fun-loving introduction to Grandma Terris world. This second Adventures book, Grandma Terris Hospital Visit, was written in honor of her granddaughter Nia, an incredible seven year old, who was diagnosed with a rare cancer three years ago. The book also celebrates all children and their families who display courage and hope in the face of adversity, as well as Nias medical teams who, by their compassion and excellence, kept hope in our hearts as we journeyed together on the road to Nias healing.
