One of the best defensive players in the NFL, Junior Seau is usually all over the field. His athletic ability is so awesome that he can sometimes chase down a receiver after having pressured the passer. Seau grew up in a tight-knit Samoan family that encouraged one another to bring honor to the family name. While Seau's big plays on the field have made him a household name, he's determined to do even more. He created the Junior Seau Foundation, which works to prevent child abuse, chemical dependency, gang warfare, and juvenile delinquency. Author Terri Morgan (Steve Young, "C" 1995) brings to life the man who once took out a full-page ad to thank his team's fans for their support.
