This book is essentially a handbook of practice and procedure for anyone advising or acting on behalf of a child who has been taken out of the jurisdiction. The Hague Convention and The European Convention are the two governing conventions which have been ratified by a number of countries in order to regulate procedure for abduction cases. This book also explains procedures in the cases involving countries which are not signatories to the Conventions.
