What we read and hear is about 80% reasonable and 20% unreasonable. Here is a statistical account abstracting some religious beliefs. This 80/20 ratio comes from the American Society for Quality Control and the University of Michigan who developed the American Consumer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Ongoing statistics reveal 80% of the population is dissatisfied with shoddy workmanship and poor service. This applies to newspapers, magazines, television, and books including the bible. The 80/20 ratio does not mean yes or no, right or wrong but rather likely or unlikely and could be revised 20% good and 80% bad. It is the tolerance when something seems 50/50. The hope is 80% of the information is useful to 80% of the readers: A quality attitude is contagious; 80% people have a natural inclination and 20% people need a booster injection. We want freedom of religion and also want freedom from religion.
