This publication describes work undertaken to improve fodder yields and fodder quality through the introduction and evaluation of improved fodder crops including: oats, lucerne, berseem, multicut sorghum and maize. All demonstration and adaptive research work was carried out on farmers' fields with their participation, using locally available tools.
