Dr. Yong Dai is Presently a Director of Clinical Medical Research Centre at the 2nd clinical Medical College of Jinan University, and also a Professor in the department of nephrology in the same university. He graduated from Tongji Medical University, and received his Medical Degree from the Sun Yat-Sen University Zhongshan School of Medicine in China, followed by his Ph.D. at the same university. He has completed his post-doctoral studies from Nuremberg hospital of Erlangen-Nuremberg University, Germany. He obtained many patents for his inventions and scientific grants. He served as an Editorial board member for various journals such as Journal of Asian genetic disease research, Journal of Nephrology Forecast, The World Journal of Stem Cells, Bioinfo Publications, and also a member of several International Societies including China Association for Instrumental Analysis, Professional Committee of China Physician Association Inspection Branch on Precision Detection and Diagnosis, Professional Committee of a kidney of Shenzhen Medical Association, Guangdong Experimental Animal Science Society, and council member of Shenzhen Young Scientists Association. Dr. Yong Dai won the Outstanding Achievement Award of China's Industry in the year 2016. Additional awards include the National Science and Technology Progress Award, Guangdong Science and Technology Award, Guangxi Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award, Shenzhen Science and Technology Progress Award, China Industry-University-Research Collaboration Innovation Award, Guangxi Guilin Science and Technology Progress Award.
