This book is the scientific summary of the author's treatment experience on oncology surgery during his 50 years of oncology surgical practice and of the author's research achievement during his 20 years of animal cancer experimentation and clinical research. The book is divided into 38 chapters in which the author demonstrates innovative concepts of cancer therapy including a new cognition of cancer etiology and pathogenesis, new concepts and methods of cancer therapy and anti-cancer metastasis and recurrence. The author also demonstrates experimental information and analysis of clinically testified results and new ways of conquering the cancers from many aspects. The cancer existing in the human body has three forms: the two points and a line, and "eight steps" and "three stages" of carcinoma metastasis, the third field of anti-carcinoma-metastasis and recurrence treatment, three Steps of therapy of carcinoma metastasis, etc. It includes both the review and recall of traditional surgical and chemotherapy and radioactive therapy and the summary and analysis of the experimental information and clinical testifying results for XZ-C immunologic regulation and control anti-carcinoma traditional Chinese's medicine which the author purified from the Chinese herbs. In addition, in this book the author added the scientific methods of the cancer therapy and the strategies and suggests for the overcoming the cancer development. Some part contents of this book have generated great attention in the international field of oncology. In this book the contents are creative and the ideas are new and the theories are related to the practices. There are extremely high scientific value and clinical application, which is a value reference for clinical oncologist, oncology specialists and oncology scientific researcher and the family and caregivers of the cancer patients.

The overall design and the planning and the blueprint of XZ-C’s plans of conquering cancer are the scientific thinking and the theoretical innovation, and the experimental basis of conquering cancer are the reform and development of the overall strategy of cancer treatment. It is the crystallization of my sixty years of experience in medical work and thirty years of scientific research results and achievement, scientific and technological innovation, scientific thinking, and scientific research wisdom. The direction of the research is to conquer cancer. It is proposed that a test area will be set up in Wuhan City, Huang Jiahu University City, and the implementation of this research program will be done by my research team of experts, professors, and so on. The scientific research plan of conquering cancer puts the focus on scientific research in the international front, and it is the forefront of science. In January 12, 2016, the US president Barack Obama, in his State of the Union address, addressed the national cancer program “to conquer cancer” and named the new moon plan (Cancer Moonshot). The vice president, Joe Biden, was responsible for the implementation. Its specific plan is unknown. Cancer is a disaster of mankind. We struggle with cancer all over the world, and people of the world struggle together, gather wisdom, and move forward together to overcome cancer. The cancer disaster covers the world. People worldwide are eager to overcome cancer one day. It is the urgent hope that the states, the governments, the experts, the scholars, and the scientists can find anticancer measures to keep people safe from cancer.

In section or chapter 2, Footprint, the author had the multi-angle analysis and comments about the traditional cancer therapy and proposed the suggestion of the cancer treatment, as well as innovative results generated through laboratory research and clinical validation, including cancer initiation and metastasis, a new method of cancer treatment, both of which traditional radical surgery and radiotherapy and chemotherapy case review and reflection, and the experimental results and typical cases of clinical data of the applications of XZ-C anti-cancer immune regulation drug treatment of malignant tumors. In the foreword, the author mainly gives the suggestions and the general strategy of attacking the cancer. This book is volume 5 in this series of walking out of the new way to conquer cancer. This book summarizes Dr. Xu Ze’s thirty items of innovation and explains the detailed concepts about the basis of theories for clinical applications. Dr. Xu Ze has been working in cancer therapy for more than sixty years and works very hard day and night to do the basics and clinical oncology science. The first article is the summary of our research work on cancer prevention and treatment, which has reached the forefront of the world. The second article is a brief description of innovation series of scientific and technology with the research achievements of anti-cancer and anti-cancer metastasis. In the half century after the Second World War, oncology has developed greatly both in the world and in China. There are three traditional major treatments: surgery, which has been used to treat tumors for more than a hundred years; radiotherapy, which has been used for ninety years; and chemotherapy, which has been used for nearly seventy years. In the 1980s, there was the rise of biological therapy and immunotherapy. The effects of oncological therapy have made a lot of progress. Many tumors have achieved good results, but there are still many solid tumors whose efficacy are still very poor. In 1985, the author followed up more than three thousand patients who had undergone the general surgical operation and thorax surgical operation. The results showed that most patients relapsed and metastasized within two to three years after surgery. Some patients even relapsed in a few months. This made me deeply realize that surgery is successful and standardized, but the long-term effect is not satisfied or that the long-term treatment is a failure.

Each time when the book is finished, both of my eyes are full of tears. Each word in these series of books represents hard work and time and dedication and care for human health. These series are not just written down but are worked down. Science life is not always smooth and sometimes is extremely difficult. Science is endless. Only those who are not afraid of failure or risk can reach the summit of the mountain. In medical history the Greek physician Hippocrates (460–370 BC), who is considered the Father of Medicine, was credited to the origin of the name cancer. He used the terms carcinos and carcinoma to recount non-ulcer-forming and ulcer-forming tumors. In Greek, these words refer to a crab because the finger-like spreading projections from cancer were similar to the shape of a crab. In his books, there are some records that also were written down: “Everyone has a physician inside him or her; we just have to help it in its work. The natural healing force within each of us is the greatest force in getting well. Let our food as our medicine, and let medicine be our food.”
