It is the story about Andrew, an otherwise ordinary person, who is "intelligent without ever excelling academically, fearless until it becomes time to make a decision, poetic without ever writing his own words, and a world-traveler who doesn't even own a passport." In spite of this life, he believes that the world has something more to offer him, and he gets through the day with the words of those who inspire him and his dreams of future grandeur. It's not until the actions of his friend, however, that Andrew's life finds the change that he always believed he was destined for. But, as Inspired: A Novel shows, the life we sometimes dream of is not as beautiful and poetic as what we may believe it to be.
