This book is written for all who have suffered heartbreak. It is for those troubled by anxiety, depression, loss, grief, questioning their self-worth, caught in addiction or obsessive/compulsive behavior, and struggling to find meaning. While the list is broad in scope, it shares a common theme: The conditions reflect a broken relationship to the core of your being, your own 'healing heart, sacred heart.' For anyone who has struggled with the not enough—not good enough, not pretty enough, not smart enough, not strong enough—and the list goes on, this book is written with you in mind. With 300 years of collective wisdom, the path laid out by the authors is well road-tested and culled to reflect what has been—and continues to be—most effective in their own lives and the lives of those they have helped over the years. Through thought-provoking questions, meditations, self-reflection, and creative practices to choose from, the book offers a process of gradually uncovering the uniqueness of your own heart and soul. This multifaceted approach to healing opens a new path for greater awareness and well-being that lasts. Complementing the The Heart Reconnection Guidebook text is a comprehensive teacher's guide which presents the concept of Heart Reconnection Therapy (HRT) and walks the therapist or counselor through wellness-promoting activities, insightful discussions, and meditations related to the The Heart Reconnection Guidebook text. It is an excellent resource for working with individuals and also with groups. This book is based on the wisdom tradition rather than therapy in the usual sense, as it is based on each participant's self-exploration. Readers and teachers alike will find the wisdom traditions offered within these pages life-changing, self-empowering, and community-building—all for the sake of greater happiness, increased awareness, and sustainable well-being.

This third volume of The Papers of Will Rogers documents the evolution of Rogers's vaudeville career as well as the newlywed life of Will and Betty Blake Rogers and the birth of their children. During these years, the Rogerses moved to New York City, and after many years of performing with Buck McKee and horse Teddy, Rogers began a solo act in vaudeville as a talking, roping cowboy. He appeared on the same playbill with such performers as Fred Stone, Eddie Cantor, and Houdini, and his stage career expanded to include an appearance in the Broadway musical comedy "The Wall Street Girl." Volume Three ends with Rogers's successful transition from vaudeville to Broadway, on the brink of his breakthrough as a star of the Ziegfeld Follies.
A collection of Rogers' writings and observations includes selections from his weekly articles and previously unpublished excerpts from his notes and correspondence
Horses, friends, ragtime music, and steer roping-those were the interests of the youthful Will Rogers as he came of age in the Indian Territory and traveled to the Southern Hemisphere in this first of six definitive volumes of The Papers of Will Rogers. By separating fact from legend and unveiling new knowledge via extensive archival research, this documentary history represents a unique contribution to Rogers scholarship and to studies of the Cherokee Nation West. Using many previously unpublished letters and photographs-together with introductions, notes, and biographies of his friends and relatives-volume one illuminates Rogers’s complex relationship with his father, his Cherokee heritage, his early education, first encounters with his future wife, Betty Blake, his voyage to Argentina, and his fledging years in Wild West shows and circuses in South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. Coorespondence, performance reviews, and rare newspaper documents spotlight the singular experiences that shaped the young Rogers within the context of his family, his ethnic background, and historical events. No other book describes so provocatively and authentically the genesis of America’s most beloved and influential humorist.
A nostalgic return to Will Roger's America. Plus 100 photographs and exclusive interviews with some of Rogers' famous friends ... Wild-West shows and vaudeville, Hollywood, the silent movies and "talkies" and ... politics"--Jacket.
A collection of Will Rogers' many words of agriculturally-related wit and wisdom.
