The Church of England may pride itself on being a house of many mansions, but for Nick Richards it has become more like a sprawl of housing estates. His dislike of political correctness has won him few friends in the Church's establishment and at times it has put him at odds with his own parishioners. Yet, if there is one thing Rotherhithe admires, it is the refusal to compromise on principle.
