An unspeakable event is about to take place in Fischer, Indiana. A group of innocent fourth graders go on a field trip, but something has gone terribly wrong. The bus driver is found dead on the side of the road and the school bus is nowhere to be found. Every parents nightmare comes true and the town of Fischer is about to tear itself apart trying to find the whereabouts of the missing children. One father, Maurice Hoffman, had just recently lost his wife to cancer and is determined not to lose his daughter Melanie as well.
