This book took some great thought to write, but And It Just Had to Be! is paramount to everything that Christianity stands for. The work of Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection, is crucial to our faith. The key factor is the oneness of Christ in us. This book highlights the factor of what Christ really did for us to appease the wrath of God. The choice is freewill. The truth is we have been translated from darkness to light. We are all sinners saved by the grace of God, but we have to accept this gift to have eternal life. However, if you reject this gift, then the wrath of God is on you, my friend. There were elements that were very personal that happened during my rebellious years in unbelief, and it happens to many people. It's sad, but it does, right? Trust me, learn from my mistakes; please repent really quick. You don't know what the price is. I talk about surrender being the first step to accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior. Salvation is a onetime event if it's genuine, but throughout your life, it's an everyday deal, the real one. Sometimes we ride the fence and think everything is A-OK, but it's not. Please have intimacy with God. He loves us very much. The Christian life ends when we're at the Judgment Seat of Christ. I hope no one appears at the Great White Throne Judgment. I covered many topics in this book to illustrate biblical concepts for you to grasp the truth. This is very serious stuff in the eyes of God. The purpose of this book is for you to make the right choice--repent or not. Remember, God believes in you. You might be in that rebellious life, but just surrender back to God.

From first joining the Royal Navy in 1940 until the end of the campaign against Japan, Tony Ditcham was in the front line of the naval war. After brief service in the battlecruiser Renown off Norway and against the Italians, he went into destroyers and saw action in most European theatres _ against S-boats and aircraft in 'bomb alley' off Britain's East Coast, on Arctic convoys to Russia, and eventually in a flotilla screening the Home Fleet. During the dramatic Battle of the North Cape in December 1943 he was probably the first man to actually see the Scharnhorst and from his position in the gun director of HMS Scorpion enjoyed a grandstand view of the sinking of the great German battleship (his account was so vivid that it formed the basis of the description in the official history). Later his ship operated off the American beaches during D-Day, where two of her sister ships were sunk with heavy loss of life, and he ended the war en route for the British Pacific Fleet and the invasion of Japan.??This incident-packed career is recounted with restraint, plenty of humour and colourful descriptive power _ his account of broaching and almost capsizing in an Arctic winter storm is as good as anything in the literature of the sea. The result makes enthralling reading, and as the surviving veterans rapidly decline in numbers, this may turn out to be one of the last great eyewitness narratives of the naval war.

How do visitors immersing themselves in material places such as shopping malls or video sites online make sense of the experience, enabling criticizing - or consenting to content? How is this evident in behaviour? Reflecting on accounts by Chinese, Indian, Malay and Indigenous members of Malaysian society, this book addresses these questions from a practices perspective increasingly adopted by scholars in marketing and media studies. The volume provides an account of practices theory from its origins in critical hermeneutics (such as Heidegger, Gadamer and Ricoeur), as reflecting on the processes of embodied understanding, developing alongside interpretive and reception theory. Part I draws upon authors as diverse as Heidegger and Henry Jenkins, with a practices perspective on media and mall consuming shown as developing from forty years of theorizing about audience activity. An empirical study of Malaysian blogging and branding on YouTube exemplifies this approach. Part II considers Malaysians absorbed in social media sites, as everyday visitors and the subjects of consumer research. The book then returns to the material world, exploring the horizons of understanding from which Malaysians enter their mediated malls, and concludes by positioning media practices theory within a spectrum of philosophical ideas. Recognizing the current (re)turn in Consumer and Media Studies to employing hermeneutics as an account of our embodied human understanding, this book presents its major philosophical proponents, showing how close attention to their writing can now inform and shape research on ubiquitous screen users. This is a political biography of William III (1650–1702): prince of Orange; stadhouder in the Netherlands from 1672; and (in a novel joint monarchy with his wife, Mary), king of England, Scotland, and Ireland after the revolution of 1688–9. William III explains how William overcame huge disadvantages at his birth to regain his family’s traditional dominance of Dutch politics; how he dedicated his life to the defeat of Louis XIV of France; how this brought him to the Stuart thrones in Britain and Ireland; and how he managed a war from 1689 which shifted the balance of Europe. William achieved these remarkable successes by being a new kind of ‘hybrid’ ruler. He befitted the traditional roles of aristocratic leadership and royalty: acting as a war leader, displaying personal and court magnificence, manipulating dynastic ties, and performing an authoritative masculinity. Yet he was also a master of an emerging public politics in which the opinions of others, and even wide populations, mattered. He persuaded his countries to fight Louis XIV of France with a brilliant mixture of mass print propaganda; skills of persuasion, compromise, and consent-building; a strong partnership with his popular wife; and a presentation of himself as his people’s servant. For all this significance, and innovation, he deserves to be far better known than he has been among anyone interested in the origins of modern Europe. This book will appeal to scholars and students alike studying the life and rule of William III, as well as more general audiences interested in the history of early modern England, Scotland, and Ireland within the political landscape of Western Europe.

Sixteen short stories about the early life of Jesus. The bible tells us very little about Jesus’ formative years. There’s a gap in his life between his parents taking him to the Temple in Jerusalem as a 12 year old and the start of his ministry 18 years later. These short stories explore how he might have grown into the person later described in the Gospels. They tell of the development of Jesus as a young person, emerging into adulthood. There are clues about how he might first have met Peter, Andrew and others who became his followers and how he learned from his friend the shepherd, who had a side line as the village barber. Reasons are suggested for his not marrying, there is an account of his first sailing trip and a possible source of the story of the prodigal son is explored. Jesus’ home life in a big family and his work as a carpenter and builder are pictured, as well as his relationships with women and men. The old men of the village, meeting in their parliament under the ancient olive tree, act as a kind of Greek Chorus, commenting on the other characters and events, and provide flashes of humour. Though the sixteen stories are a work of imagination, they take seriously the likelihood that Jesus spent his first 30 years in the village of Nazareth and the region of Galilee. While they draw on research about this area and period of history, the stories picture a lively young man, growing up and believing God was calling him; but to do what?
