Tim is a criminal - and it's no surprise. After growing up amidst the terrors of a violent and alcoholic stepfather, a neglectful prostitute for a mother, and an abusive father and step-mother, Tim's life is one of crime and hate; it's all he has ever known. However, the bars of his jail cell aren't the only prison in which Tim lives. At thirty-eight he makes a choice, one far more challenging than the streets - he chooses freedom.
