It is anthology of romantic poems addressed to readers who love poems with erotic scents. Love is the central theme in all my poems and reading the poems feels like hearing some symphonic play or listening to pop and rock hits on radio. I was born in mountainous Rajcza, south Poland where I spent my childhood and teenage years, and where I also studied and participated in the so called Solidarity movement against the communist regime. I emigrated out of Poland yet when Poland was still in the Soviet thaw and I became a citizen of New Zealand within five years. I lived in marvelous Wellington, the capital of NZ, called often ' Windy Wellington ', due to the very many winds blowing through the city both from the Pacific and nearby mountains. While in New Zealand I lived there also in Auckland and Coromandel Peninsula for a while. Afterwards I traveled worldwide, I had been amongst others in China and finally settled down in Antwerp, Belgium. The United States was always the country of my final destination and my departure from Poland, just eight days before martial law was in fact me emigrating to America which I have never so far had luck to get to. In the meantime I am feeling myself quite comfortable in the European Union, a great project of all Europeans which came true. America and especially New York City with its Statue of Liberty, remain my dream. Freedoms cherished by America are the unstoppable trend and I myself am fully behind it, wishing the same to all individuals across the world, freedoms, human rights, love ...

A fascinating retrospective written with the poetic pen. It's a poetry about love, lovers, rebel lovers especially, nature, the world, relationship between lovers and societies, a thorough look into psyche of individuals and people in the wider context, added are marvelous descriptions of the environment and also author's expressing of desire for love and goodness being the engine for all humans in this world. There are also a few poems here in which I express my feelings towards New York City, the greatest town on Earth, one housing descendants from all parts of the world, with great, symphonic atmosphere clearly being felt in every corner of New York City and in the NYC skies. ' Rebel Lovers, Rebel Hearts ' is in all aspects exceptional.

Hangover ' There were two young men with hangover in a Greenwich Cafe of New York City at the very heart of the Village, the artists' haven They looked moodily as if caught by a storm mysterious one, with dancing ghostly demons Their faces expressed tints of deep-seated sorrow ' I know it quite good you cry deep within yourself unable to solve your problem, Romeo alike I also know she was your muse, a goddess of love and it makes me feeling so much sorrowful for you I really share your suffering, my dear friend ' said one of them to another one, visibly shaken His friend looked up with dampened eyes ' She was my only beauty, my love greater than life with so many brilliantly sparkling tints on the heavenly canvas filled with stars She was my beloved angel looking after me my sweet protector, my sense of life, my only love She was a swan with wings spread wide with nothing to hide and everything to show a swan on the canvas of the sky above reflected in the waters of a quiet lake one performing a shining serenade of love with a carousel of many hues and shades She was my everlasting support, my arm a gentle pillar and though all powerful one like all the pillars of the Acropolis of Athens supposed to stay eternally, withstanding time as part of me, she, my heavenly angel of love Yet she's gone, no chance to have her back ' ' Don't cry, my dear friend ', the other man said ' I'm your pillar now, your best and caring friend for as long as you need it, my dearest friend ' He took him in his very arms and held him so for long minutes, stroking him gently on his arm while strangers in the cafe looked curiously at them ' Hangover ' by Thaddeus Hutyra Copyright © Thaddeus Hutyra All Rights Reserved.

The Poetry Universe is a forum for poets and writers on Facebook, created in 2014. Members include experienced poets and beginning poets stepping into the poetry community. My actual name is Tadeusz Hutyra, though for the English/American world I have adopted the name Thaddeus Hutyra. I am the founder of “The Poetry Universe”, “River of Poetry” and a number of other poetry groups on Facebook. Born in mountainous Rajcza, Poland. I spent my childhood and teenage years there studying and I also participated in the “Solidarity movement” against the communist regime. Emigrating to New Zealand when Poland was still in the Soviet thaw I became a citizen within five years, living in the capital city Wellington, often called “Windy Wellington”. Afterwards I travelled worldwide, I have been to amongst other places China, though I finally settled down in Belgium. The USA had always been my intended final destination after my departure from Poland. America, especially New York City with its Statue of Liberty still remain my dream. The freedoms cherished by America are an unstoppable trend that I am fully behind, wishing the same to all individuals across the world, freedom, human rights and love. In the meantime I am feeling quite comfortable living in the European Union, a great project of all Europeans which came true. I express my deep wish readers will enjoy reading this book. Snowy Mount McKinley under the Alaska skies Mount Saint Elias, majestic Rocky Mountains Wildcat Mountain of White County in Georgia and all those grandiose skies above them from British Columbia to New Mexico, so different and as far as the Oregon and Idaho skies Utah and Arizona skies as well, rainbow alike mirroring nature as if the world were Amazonia only a wishful thinking but yes, just stand for nature !! We're camping for a while in Grand Canyon at the side of the Colorado River in Arizona Nights are splashed with shimmering stars days showing skies playing a heavenly music to the tunes of Chopin's polonaises and waltzes Skies differ from the very blue to rainbow alike constantly on the move, slower or faster, rhythmic Numerous hawks adding to this their own music and of course we ourselves, in our spasms of love which fly up the sky like those hawks are doing We're leaving yet for another long ride through vast spaces of American land as always under the magic and magnetic skies with all their splendid repertoire of music from Chopin to Beethoven's Appassionata from a country music to a modern pop & rock Days are a ride, nights are passionate love Join us whoever you are and as a reward you shall join the stars on the nightly sky as yet another star, perhaps the brightest one Traveling all the way from fabulous California to magic New Jersey perhaps, we don't care bathing lovingly in the Sun on the way with our car speeding on the speedway under American skies tributing Stars and Stripes from Idaho via Nebraska to the Florida's skies Sleeping yet under the great Oklahoma skies and the Mississippi skies, catching stars staying overnight under so many other skies Finally arriving in Miami, basked in the Sun ' American Skies ' by Thaddeus Tadeusz Hutyra Copyright © Thaddeus Hutyra All Rights Reserved
