This is a journey underground, through the dark, to reach the goal of your choosing. You will be faced with no less than nine challenges that you must complete successfully. Do not expect an easy journey here. These challenges are meant to push you to the extreme, to make you dig down deeper than you might have thought possible.
My own Muse is rather sick and tired of all these sweet innocent little happy prompts that take you through flowery fields and end up with lollipops and a Wizard granting wishes at the end. My Muse demands a work shop that takes you through the field of poppies to be poisoned, that throws you down the well, that locks you in the closet with the angry beaver...well, you get the point. Sometimes you have to work your way through the Darkness to really reach the Light. This is one of those courses.
This experiential journey workshop has been created with the idea that you will work on one prompt per week, throughout the entire cycle of the year. The purpose of something so extended is to help you reach into yourself and dig in deeper over the long time period than you would, say, for a weekend class, or something to that effect.Fifty-four prompts to guide you through a childhood, either your own or one you've created.
This is a truly interactive course where you decide what sort of doll you want and need. You will be given meditations and exercise to help you access your own Inner Wisdom to create an object that is truly original and imbued with your own love and energies.
Twenty-six years ago, I wrote these eighty-four poems. Twenty-six years, I've waited to be strong enough, in and of myself, to let these poems fly out, loose in the world.
This powerful little workshop is chock full of ideas to fill your very own creative journal, no matter your field of artistic endeavor, with your own material. In this manner, you will be able to access your own creative genius using your own prompts, rather than depending upon someone else's work that may or may not be quite that which you were seeking.
The First Four Workbook Workshops That Started It AllThis collection features the first four workbooks I created. The Wisdom Tree; Be The Seed; Pathway For A Princess; Mermaid. Each of these workbooks is a creative prompt journey in and of itself. This is a different look at an age-old topic. I have gathered together bits and pieces of mermaid lore that is rarely heard in the happy arena where children play. This is a gritty, morbid look at some theories that revolve around the mermaid mythos that have come up in my studies and readings over the years.
Fifty-four prompts that lead you through a maze to reach your goal at the end. This is a year-long experiential journey that encourages you to tap into hidden creative wells within your soul and your psyche.
Make no mistake about this: this is a spiritual journey. The prompts are specific, but also general. The main prompts are mostly go this way and see what you see types of prompts. There are also roughly nine breaks where you will be prompted to do or to create something to help you integrate the main prompt experience.
Here in this book you will find a collection of my articles and blog posts. I am really proud of many of these articles. I have had people ask about articles that they can no longer find online. I decided after taking down my last personal blog that I did not want to lose all my hard work, so I collected all the articles into one volume. That is what you will find here. I also collected a volume of poetry, and of creative prompt work. The blog itself has been turned into a pdf file and is now filed away on my hard drive so that if I ever need to find anything from that blog, I will have access to it.
Embrace The Feline MystiqueThis is a single course prompt. It's just a little taste of what our more extensive prompt journey's can be like, if you will. This is a good way to test our larger projects before diving right in.In this prompt, your Guide is a small cat. She takes you to a Threshold--and through it. She leads you through the new World, to the Palace, where you meet the Queen. Here you will exchange Wisdom appropriate to you and your current situation. Once the exchange is complete, your Guide will take you back to where you began.
Originally, there was a blog that I called my creative notebook. I answered prompts, responded to questions, dug deep into my own psyche, and I put it all out onto this blog. I eventually closed that blog. I didn't want to lose all of this writing I had done for so many years. I collected it all together. These writings are the result of belonging to different writing groups, responding to various prompts, and journalling groups. You will find a mix of both fiction and non-fiction in this volume. This volume is volume two of a two volume set. The first volume is called Revenants.
Thirty-one quick little prompts based upon various stories, movies and poems from throughout the ages presented here for your entertainment and amusement during the Halloween season--or at any other time of year when you need a little extra spooky in your life.

Based upon a prompt from the book Inner Excavation by Liz Lamoreux, I have put together some thirty photographs taken one day in June 2013.There is very little text. There are no captions.I allow the photos to speak for themselves.
