My name is Susan Joyner-Stumpf. I have been writing since the age of eight. It started off as an escape mechanism for me, as I was suffering from Childhood abuse. After a while, and after winning every Creative Writing Contest I entered at such an early age, I began to have a passion for writing and thus have never stopped.

Their poems speak of the splendor of Nature and wildlife but also bring awareness to the fact that our resources ... oceans, animals, plants, trees, are being abused. This book marks a Landmark in my writing career, my 30th book. It is dedicated to all the species on the Endangered List, like the Condor, for which the title of the book was named. People don't understand, when wildlife and plants and trees go extinct, a part of us does, as well. Proceeds to this book will go to Conservation.

Language of Moon is Susan Joyner-Stumpf's sixth book of poetry. The Poems reach across the gauntlet of emotion and record this Author's keen observations drawn from her life experiences. She also loves to add fantasy into the mix. The range of intensity from despair to inspiration, hatred, joy to disillusion, fear and wonder and enchantment take you on a roller coaster journey through the outer lands of this Poet's unique and varied world. A lover of animals, many poems are written in tribute to all animals, not just ones who have shared her existence, past and present. Ms. Stumpf is a Member of various Wildlife Preservation Organizations, and her emphasis is on being an advocate for abused and homeless animals of all species, especially wolves which she is partial to, having been owned by one. Ms. Stumpf is very intense, so be prepared. She uses heavy metaphor, abstract imagery and wordplay in her expression.

This poetry book is about all the love the Women of Passion, Reflection and Substance have for each other. We thought about it and decided let's put together another sequel. These Poetesses that grace these pages are from all different countries including the Americas. POTPOURRI ANTHOLOGY, VOLUME I, is a collection of poems submitted by members from a Facebook Poetry Group owned and run by Susan Joyner-Stumpf and co-owned by Cindy Toth called POTPOURRI POETS/ARTISTS WRITING COMMUNITY. Here on these pages are the collections under one roof of talented Souls that have come together to help create this Anthology with their amazing words, each varied and unique and reflecting the individual poet's style and finesse; their hopes, dreams, fears, love, laughter, joy and tears.

It is the hope of Deborah Brooks Langford and myself that this new venture, WILDFIRE PUBLICATIONS MONTHLY MAGAZINE, be another forum to showcase Authors, their books and put them in the limelight. There are so many writers out there who don't get the exposure they need to jump-start their passion into Literary Mainstream. It's not easy getting a name for yourself, even if your goal is NOT to seek fame and fortune. There is nothing wrong with wanting some recognition for your hard work as a writer and getting feedback in order to grow into your craft. So we hope another venue for exposure will help our fellow authors.

Welcome to Vol III of MOTHER-LESS EARTH, by Susan Joyner-Stumpf and Eden Hundsdoerfer. Poems about the glory of nature; poems about the abuse of our environment, wildlife and natural resources, will fill these pages. All Proceeds will go to Nature Reserves and to causes/charities that support Preserving our Earth and Wildlife, . . . for we are all connected.

This book, STARS WERE NEVER PROMISED, is a LANDMARK book because of the symbolic number 25 associated with this book. It's my 25th book; Dec 15th marked my 25th Wedding Anniversary. And I am releasing this book around Christmas Dec 25th. Is that all coincidence? I think NOT. This book is a Sign. This book is special. I hope you think so too. This is the PAPERBACK version. There is a HARDBACK Version available as well on Lulu.

Though the poetry in this book is not strictly on the subject of wolves but more a variety of other subject matters, I still thought, due to the book's title, and in celebration of 16 years of graphic creations with my graphic art handle being SonnetWolf Designz, that it would be the best book scenario to showcase many of my graphic art pieces created with wolves in mind. I hope you enjoy my poetry as well as my graphics. Again, though most are of wolves, some are specific to the poem they accompany.
