One thing we know is inevitable in life...life never stays the same. We may be growing by God's grace, or may be resistant to change, but no matter how hard we try, we cannot resist change. Though change cannot be resisted, it can be managed, even benefited from it, and we can certainly participate in the changes we face. The book Transformation by Dr. Stan DeKoven is all about change. Its focus begins with internal change, that is, changing one's mind/heart to change our destiny or destination, and ends with the principle of change for the world in which we live, the world for which Christ died. In the teaching, there are three primary Greek words that describe change, Metamorphosis, Metanoia and Telios, and all have a beginning in knowing who we are in Christ. This book, along with the audio or DVD series by the same name, are a part of a teaching series done at Fontana Christian Center International Ministries in Fontana, CA, for the benefit of that local congregation. The book is all about helping us to know what and how to change, to become all God has created us to be.

Freedom, true freedom is defined in many ways. Some would include in their definition the ability to do whatever I want, or might focus primarily on physical, psychological or financial freedom. Well, freedom in concept and reality, is an important topic for believers and not yet believers alike. In North America especially, freedom in all its various expressions is seen as a national right, is debated and debated, within political parties and from the pulpit. In this small book, Dr. Stan DeKoven, teacher, counselor, and leader of leaders tackles this topic of freedom from a biblical theological perspective, with practical application. As one of his "Walk in Wisdom" series books, the goal of this work is to make clear what freedom is, and what it is not, and is designed to assist men and women discover and walk in the freedom Christ has provided for us. Included in this work Dr. DeKoven explores, Freedom from What and for What? How to be fully alive in Christ. Knowing that Freedom is Being Who You Are already and is determined by..... Looking in the right place, and in the right face. For those of us who have struggled with the whole concept of freedom, this book will enlighten, inspire to new joy in the Lord, as we enter into the fullness of the Freedom for which Christ has set us free.

The very concept is at best difficult for most believers to wrap their minds around. The family designed by God, is to be a place of safety and love... not hurt and shame. Yet we are painfully aware that spousal abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect does happen in Christian homes. We, the church, need to know how to respond in care, compassion, and justice. In this small but packed book, Dr. Stan DeKoven, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and International educator presents the key principles and concerns to be addressed by professional and lay leader alike, based upon his textbook, "Family Violence: Patterns of Destruction." This book will help victims, when the paraprofessional and clergy minister with grace when violence occurs in the family. Dr. Stan DeKoven is the Founder and President of Vision International University. After many years as a successful Christian family counselor, he expanded the work of Dr. Ken Chant into a dynamic university program with colleges in over 80 nations around the world. Wisdom is the principle thing, get wisdom. Walk in Wisdom, based upon the 2013 sermon series preached at Pastor Gary and Gina Holley's Fontana Christian Center International Ministries, in Fontana, California. The focus of the book is to provide insight into the important topic of wisdom. In both the preaching and the writing, the author's intent is to develop both the theological and practical (you must know wisdom, and what wisdom is, before one can walk it out in daily living) aspects of this important biblical concept. In this work, Dr. DeKoven covers several topics of importance for the person wanting to walk in God's will. They include: Living Life As God Intended - by intention (rather than haphazardly as many believers do today. Guidance for the Journey of Life; practical principles for powerful living. Identity - Who We Are; until you know who you are, your potential is limited. Living Life in the Wisdom of God by Intention with Discipline; it takes discipline, but it is not as hard as you think. Walk in Wisdom: Choose the Right Gate; really all of life is about choices. Adapted from a book of practical wisdom for teenagers, this practical work will be a blessing for young and old. As Paul wrote "Walk in wisdom towards outsiders, making the most of the opportunity." (Col. 4:5)
Success is defined in diverse ways--from money, power, and prestige to a more godly view such as fulfilling one's purpose in the Kingdom of God. Dekoven presents a guide to achieving success, no matter how one might define it.
What are we chasing? This was the question that came to mind after observing many church services from diverse groups of Christians in different parts of the world. My observation was this: There seems to be a rather frantic pursuit of all things spiritual in certain circles. In contrast, many in the body of Christ seem complacent, happy to simply go to church and disengage from evangelism, missions, or even real fellowship. It is said that wildfire is better than no fire at all, but I suppose even that depends on the winds and where one is standing. My point is simply this: As believers in the 21st century, are there things we must do to ensure our life in God is moving in a healthy direction? If there are, what are those things, and more succinctly, should the things we pursue be revival, renewal, refreshing, or retirement? Maybe I am just getting old (that really goes without saying), but my questions come down to: What are we to rest in? What are we to strive for? One thing seems sure. Whether rest or pursuit, it all (should) begins with Christ and ends with Christ. Thus, this question has been on my mind, and I dare say on the minds of many others in Christendom. It is a question I hope you will explore with me, as did the wonderful congregation of Frequency in Fontana California, a congregation lead by Pastors Gary, Gina and Kalina Holley. It truly was my honor to speak this series of messages that, in time, has turned into this tome of my invention, hopefully inspired by the Holy Spirit. So, in this somewhat short book, I hope you will have open eyes, open minds and open hearts, as we explore our peaceful pursuit. Dr. Stan
I am who God says I am...but the key is believing it, and that is why this little book, inspired by life, preached in Fontana, with input from both Dr. Barry and Dr. Ken Chant, is all about. You see, finding one's true identity is not hard...that's why for so many it is unbelievable. Dr. Stan

One of the hopes of every teacher, especially teachers of God's word is to see evidence (fruit) that what is being taught is actually being learned by the student. In Jesus' ministry, a primary focus of his teaching was to insure that the disciples "understood all these things" (Matt. 13:52). Transferring the Vision has been written with a similar hope.that teachers will know the joy of seeing students grow in wisdom and knowledge as the vision of the instructor is received by the student.
This book deals with resolving past conflict and achieving peace in the inner man through diligence, hard work, patience, discipline, and trust in the Lord.
