Thomas Dewberry was born in about 1643 in London, England, He emigrated in about 1663. He married Elizabeth in about 1770 in Maryland. They had at least two sons, Samuel and GIles. He died in Albemarle County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Texas.
