As I awoke from a dream in the early morning hours, with tears streaming down my face, my heart was so burdened for others. While inquiring to God what this was all about, he said, "People need you to tell them what to do to get out of their situations." Being more confused than ever, God took my mind back to some thoughts, a few years prior, about him wanting me to write a book. A book to help guide and encourage people who are going through different kinds of sicknesses and addictions, as well as to the caregivers who are helping take care of their loved ones. This book is titled From My Heart to Yours: An Inspiring Book of Poetry, because it's filled with one hundred passages that God has laid on my heart to share with you and your loved ones. To watch lymphoma cancer, ALS (Lou Gehrig's) disease, and a malignant brain tumor take our loved ones' lives would have been unbearable without God's love. These are only a few of the testimonies you'll find as you read this inspiring book. This is the second book that God has blessed me to share with you and others. The first book, God Is Always in My Shadow, was published a few months before this one. From My Heart to Yours: An Inspiring Book of Poetry covers a large spectrum of situations that each of us have to make choices about every day of our lives. I pray these books will answer some of your questions and bless each of you with strength, wisdom, and guidance along the way.
This book is written for one purpose. That purpose is to tell people what to do to get out of their situations. Life is all about making decisions. This book is entitled God Is Always in My Shadow because God is always with me. Sometimes your shadow is in front of you, sometimes it is beside you, and at other times, it is behind you. Most of the time, God is in front of me, leading me where to go and what to do. But the last few years he has had to walk beside me a lot to hold my hand, to be my friend, and to carry me when I didn't have the strength. The rest of the time, he has been behind me to give me that shove to go in the direction that he would have me go. Thank you, God, for always being in my shadow and allowing me to share these experiences of my life with others. I pray there are some answers in this book to lead and guide you.
This study of presidential administrations from Nixon through Clinton discusses how and why the White House has become the dominant player in the domestic policy process, relegating the departments to implementation, rather than design, of key initiatives.
