She was born to Fannie Phillips Johnson and Arthur Williams Jr. and is the youngest of all her siblings. She has seven sisters and one brother. She attended college at Ministry of Salvation Church in Chula Vista, California, and World Christianship Ministries where she finished and received a PhD in theology. She is a member of the International Library of Poetry (Poetry.com) where you can see some of her work online. Some of her poems have been published in books shared with other authors. These books are The Bending Light, The Best Poems of 2001, and Under a Quicksilver Moon. Her main reason for writing is to reach out to everyone because of the disabilities and sicknesses she has to battle with. She has fibromyalgia, high blood pressure, panic attacks, asthma, a total left hip replacement, and many other surgeries or problems she has to deal with. But the answer and understanding she wants all people to know is that we are all blessed, and there are so many people that have talents or gifts. Use them no matter what, even if you are disabled; we all have to deal with something, so stand strong.

It takes recent and ongoing political debates and legislative changes around prostitution and sexual assault as a focus. Using four national case studies: Poland, Germany, Sweden and Italy it illuminates how the EU’s desire for increased harmonisation across the Union around gender and sexuality norms and values operates differently and with specific effects across Member States. The book’s structure provides a detailed map of how and why contemporary European sexual politics is changing, and how this contributes to establishing European norms and values in developments in law and policy around prostitution and sexual assault.
