Without patience truth and steadfast logic of exalted school of religion wouldnt have been understood. Divine learning of Islam, which blessed humanity, would have lost its color with the passage of time. Ultimate hope of victory of truth over falsehood, which provides life-giving fresh blood for the powerful hands and steadfast steps of believers, would have been silenced forever. Without patience existence of Monotheism, prophet-hood, and prophetic mission would havent been possible and produced any fruits. Rights of deprived people couldnt have been obtained from the tyrants. Also, prayers, fasting, and other deeds would have lost their meanings. During his limited span of life in this world, a human being between his birth and death is a traveler on the road towards final destination. He has been fundamentally created to endeavor as much as possible to bring himself close to final destination. The primary aim of divine religions and great prophets was to build an Islamic society providing a suitable field in which human beings could travel, ultimately reaching their desired goal. *** The present book contains a detailed commentary about the philosophy of daily ritual prayer in Islam. The writer describes Prayer of Islam like a siren for awakening us; a warning at different hours of day and night which provides a program for human beings, requiring their commitment for its execution. Thus, it bestows meanings to spent days and nights and makes them accountable for passing moments. Prayer of Islam by inspiration and repetition of Gods remembrance connects limited vulnerable human beings to infinite and absolute source of power and thus, makes him rely upon that supreme source. Therefore, a believer or a society of believers through establishing prayer burns the roots of deviations, sins, corruptions within themselves and their social environments; as well as at the same time neutralizes completely all kind of sinful thoughts and internal and external motives of wickedness be individual or collective, whatsoever. Certainly prayer protects individual as well as a society from all sorts of undesirable and shameful acts.

By God! They raised objection against the cutting swords of Ali, his being indifference with respect to the death in the battlefield, his power of the combat in the warfare, and the scattering strokes. By God! If people have joined with each other and would have given the caliphate to some one about whom the Holy Prophet (SAW) has recommended, any time if the people had deviated from the path of the truth, he would guided them towards the righteous path with out any pain and disturbance that neither the mount had become incapacitated nor its rider would have tired and sad. Ultimately he would have lead them to the pure and pleasant fountainhead of water, the canal that on both sides was saturated with the water that had never been polluted. And then after the complete quenching of their thirst had returned them, and as a result they would have found him their well-wisher in hidden and apparent. [Ali] would never had taken any benefit from the world and from it there had not been any advantage except the quenching of the thirsty and feedings of the hungry ones. And here the world-worshipper from the ascetic one, righteous one from the liar had been explicit for all of them. And in accordance of what God's has said in the Holy Qur'an: 'If the people of towns would have accepted faith and were pious, We would have opened the gates of heaven's blessing upon them, but since they denied We punished them for their evil deeds.' And: 'Those who indulges in the tyranny and oppression their deeds would caught their skirt, and they would never be able to escape from the divine punishment.' During his retirement Imam Ali (AS) devoted himself to the study of the Masters percepts by the light of reason. But for his assassination, to quote the language of a French historian, the Muslim world might have witnessed the realization of the Prophets teaching, in the actual amalgamation of Reason with Law, and the impersonation of the first principles of true philosophy in positive action. The same passionate devotion to knowledge and learning which distinguished the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) breathed in every word of his Disciple. With a liberality of mind-for beyond the age in which he lived-was joined a sincere devoutness of spirit and earnestness of faith. His sermons, faithfully preserved by one of his descendents, and his litanies or psalms, portray a devout up looking toward the Source of All Good, and an unbounded faith in humanity. The accession of the Umayyad to the ruler ship of Islam was a blow to the progress of knowledge and liberalism in the Muslim World. Their stormy reigns left the nation little leisure to devote to the gentler pursuits of science; and to this, among the sovereigns, was joined a characteristic idolatry of the past. Their thoughts were engrossed by war and politics. During the comparatively long rule of a century, the House of Umayyad produced only one man devoted to the cultivation of letters; and this man was Abu Hashim Khalid ibn Yezid-the philosopher of the Merwanian family-as he has been called, who was set aside from the succession on account of his learning. The jealous suspicion and the untiring animosity of the children of Abu Sufian and Hind had obliged the decedents of the Holy Prophet (SAW) to live a life of humble retirement. Those who created, supported, financed, and provided them weapons should be blamed for these catastrophes inflicted upon the innocent people throughout the globe.
