This book contains my thoughts on topics close to my heart, such as womens issues, politics, love, nature, emotional bonds, career options, technology, unemployment, cleanliness, spirituality, domestic violence, wrong choices in life, music, aging, and other hues of life. Sometimes I do speak with my tongue in my cheek! I hope this book makes a dent somewhere as I often strike positive notes. My first book, The Bottom Line, was published in May 2015.
Follow Your Heart runs on the theme of love. The author attempts to touch on various forms of love—namely, romantic love, filial love, love between siblings, love for children, love for your country, love for music, love for cricket, love for money, love for friends, love for flora and fauna, and self-love, which she thinks is most important. If you love yourself, everything else falls into place. The author believes in following her heart to stay happy. Love is the loveliest emotion in the world. The book should, therefore, appeal to both the young and the old.
This is a collection of musings in verse based on urban life, complex relationships, music, soul stirring inner experiences, serious health issues, anecdotes and freakish human nature. Expressed in lucid language, it should appeal to poetry lovers.
The Litmus Test takes you on an inner journey to explore a ray of hope in every turbulent situation in life. You go through a discipline of positivity to achieve success in your endeavours. No life is a piece of cake. Motivation to do your best helps. It does that. Women empowerment is given a thumbs-up. Meditation, spirituality, music, politics, management, and man-woman relationships also find a place in this medley of life-enhancing subjects. It makes an interesting read.
