Samuel F. Burdge, son of Moses Burdge, was born 21 August 1756 in Middletown, New Jersey. He married Elizabeth Nancy McCartney (1760-1813) in 1780 in Pennsylvania. They had six children. He married Agnes Ann Johnson (1788-1845) in 1814. They had six children. He died in 1844 in Stockbridge, Indiana. Descendant, Calvin Walter Burdge (1873-1937), married Addie Alice Keller (1881-1934), daughter of Charles Keller and Alice Swartz, in 1899 in North Dakota. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Indiana, North Dakota and California.
