Now that he's awake, Rin's personality has become mixed up with Shion's and the conflict isn't good for him or anyone else. Between Shion's obsessive drive to save Earth and the danger from Haruhiko's allies, Rin has to keep alert rather than focusing on his recovery.
Finally face to face with Alice, Rin is determined to get the password out of her that she used in her past life on the KK moon base. She refuses to give it to him until he tells her what he wants it for, but is unprepared for the complexity of his motives, which are all tied into his past life as Shion.
