Grace Farland is a recently orphaned young girl who is sent to stay with her only living relative, her Aunt Henrietta, a woman her father had always told her was a mean and greedy. Once she arrives in England, Grace's worst fears are confirmed by the fact that her aunt appears bent on stealing the only possession Grace has left from her parents, a valuable hand-woven tapestry. However, Grace forms an unlikely bond with her cousin Brian and Brian's best friend, Wes. Brian and Wes are convinced that the tapestry, with its beautiful illustration of an ancient kingdom, has magical powers. Although Grace is skeptical, one Christmas Eve, she suddenly finds herself walking through it-with Wes and Brian right behind her! They are transported to the Nation of Imagi, where Grace finds out that she is now the queen of this realm and that anything she dreams in her imagination becomes reality. Soon, the three stumble onto a secret that is threatening not only the kingdom of Imagi, but their very existence!
