There is a remarkable relevance of 1920s scandals to todays political environment, but that remains behind the book as two bright literary men playing Holmes and Watson, Mencken and Cain, take the train to DC to get the real scoop. They drink a lot, meet a mysterious sexy redhead named Roxy, a rogue named Gaston B. Means, and get a lot more than they bargained for. They don't solve a crime, but with hard-boiled enthusiasm they expose some of the roots of the malaise of our capitol. All the speaking roles are real historical characters. The study is divided into three sections: 1) a literature review and methodological statement; 2) overview of the spectrum of positions represented within Württemberg pietism, and a discussion of three pietists known to have had contact with Hölderlin in his youth and as a student; 3) analysis of a representative selection of Hölderlin's works - including his early poems, Hyperion, his theoretical writings on aesthetics, and a number of his late hymns - in light of their relation to Württemberg pietism.

But, in a rarity for Southern novels, this one centers on a character who mixes Yiddish with his Southern and has for his neighbors small merchants from Poland, Lebanon, and Greece. As Morris resides with his family over his Dauphin Street store, enjoys cigars with his Cuban friend Pablo Pastor, and makes "a living not a killing," his tale begins with glimpses of the old Confederacy, continues through a tumultuous Armistice Day, and leads up to the hard-won victories of World War II. Along the way Morris sells shoes and sofas and endures Klan violence, religious zealotry, and financial triumphs and heartbreaks. With his devoted Miriam, who nurses memories of Brooklyn and Romania, he raises four adventurous children whose own journeys take them to New Orleans and Atlanta and involve romance, ambition and tragic loss. At turns lyrical, comic, and melancholy, this tale takes inspiration from its title. This Romanian expression with an Alabama twist is symbolic of the strivings of ordinary folks for sustenance, for the realization of their hopes and dreams. Set largely on a few humble blocks yet engaging many parts of the world, this Southern Jewish novel is, ultimately, richly American.

And ‘Déconcert’ from philosophical feature, may be explained as: “The theory of culturing syntagms by ‘photo-dynamics’ (PD), by concerting themselves with suitable literature(s), making and plying all at a time”. And “Concert-ing Déconstruction” is only an effort towards exploration of the resultant-metaphysics of Derrida’s Philosophy of Déconstruction in the present era. Above all it’s an effort towards re-thinking of Husserl’s Phenomenology more scientifically after Derrida’s Déconstruction; and opening-up of new Déconcertic dimensions—One of it’s new kind dimension may be presented as “Photo-Phenomenology”; and may be introduced as a new branch of “Phenomenology” under the new School: Concertive Humanities; placing for the new dimensional re-searchable study of 21st century’s wisdom of photo-phenomenological Déconcertö Philosophy: The newly emerged “Concertölogy” after “Phenomenology”. And thus, “Concertölogy” may be launched as a new branch of “Philosophy”, after “Phenomenology”. Finally, it simply “Philosophy by Photo-Dynamics”.
