It is a guide to a loving and healthy life and world. We all want to have this kind of life (physically and spiritually), so we should know the true laws that guide us to achieve the life and evolvement God meant for us to have. Universal Spiritual Laws (USL) are the unbreakable God given laws that created and govern both realms of our existence. This book presents the primary USL (Love) and numerous secondary laws that all directly relate to the primary law. Over many generations, unfortunately, mankind has replaced God’s USL with their own self-serving, controlling, ego and greed based laws, leaving the world in the condition it is today. The USL were given to me by a highly evolved Goddess of Motherhood, Mercy and Compassion, Quan Yin (see depiction on back cover) through an ordained minister and a very evolved and gifted certified medium, Rev. Beverly Burdick-Carey. The spiritual source by-passes the human negative thinking, ego and desire for power and control and gives only TRUTH. Your thoughts, words and deeds, whether positive or negative, cannot escape USL and determine our physical and spiritual life and evolvement which is our purpose here on earth. Since we create our own life’s path, follow the USL in a positive way to avoid having to repeat needed life lessons and speed your evolvement and have a more ideal life. How you follow the USL is your choice. It is also extremely important to know and understand that WE ARE ALL A PART OF GOD not APART FROM GOD and GOD IS ALL and LOVE. Good health is very important in life and with forty years of medical and spiritual study and practice, I have learned that our life's path and health are created by our own thoughts, words, deeds and beliefs. Therefore, I chose to briefly cover the healing aspects of each USL to help you improve your health and healing. Use the knowledge, wisdom and truths given to me that comprises this book to better your physical and spiritual evolvement, healing and life. You can summarize this book in three words, UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and TRUTH, but you need to learn, study and follow the USL to spiritually evolve and benefit from them. Know the truth and truth will set you free. Keep an open mind and heart and start with small steps and I wish you Love and Light.

Ronald W. Schatz tells the story of the team of young economists and lawyers recruited to the National War Labor Board to resolve union-management conflicts during the Second World War. The crew (including Clark Kerr, John Dunlop, Jean McKelvey, and Marvin Miller) exerted broad influence on the U.S. economy and society for the next forty years. They handled thousands of grievances and strikes. They founded academic industrial relations programs. When the 1960s student movement erupted, universities appointed them as top administrators charged with quelling the conflicts. In the 1970s, they developed systems that advanced public sector unionization and revolutionized employment conditions in Major League Baseball. Schatz argues that the Labor Board vets, who saw themselves as disinterested technocrats, were in truth utopian reformers aiming to transform the world. Beginning in the 1970s stagflation era, they faced unforeseen opposition, and the cooperative relationships they had fostered withered. Yet their protégé George Shultz used mediation techniques learned from his mentors to assist in the integration of Southern public schools, institute affirmative action in industry, and conduct Cold War negotiations with Mikhail Gorbachev.

Very little has been written about the U.S. Navy in Vietnam in the immediate post-Korean War era, nor has the magnitude of American participation in the resettlement of Vietnam refugees following the 1954 Geneva Conference been explored. Beginning in the fall of 1954, U.S. Navy ships, as a part of Task Force 90, helped to relocate thousands of displaced North Vietnamese to South Vietnam following the separation of the nation at the 17th parallel. What those sailors accomplished during the three hundred days of Operation Passage to Freedom forever changed the lives of more than 310,000 Vietnamese who traveled on their ships. In Operation Passage to Freedom Ronald B. Frankum, Jr. recounts the events surrounding this enormous humanitarian evacuation that was the American military's first major involvement with the Vietnamese people. Based on archival research and interviews with more than forty sailors who participated in Task Force 90, Operation Passage to Freedom illuminates a mission that has been all but forgotten and also explores how the initial humanitarian involvement of the United States in Vietnam eventually led to massive military involvement in the 1960s and 1970s.

The truth is, few people know the first thing about clinical research. The public reads about a medical research project that announces unbelievable results for a miraculous drug. Some years later, another investigation completely wipes out those initial favorable findings. Hormones Cut Women’s Risk of Heart Disease (San Francisco Chronicle, 1994) Hormones Don’t Protect Women from Heart Disease, Study Says (Washington Post, 2001) The people are confused because we do not understand the process behind these conflicting results. Our health, and in fact, our very lives are dependent on clinical trials, but we know little about them. This book explains the issues the public needs to be aware of when it comes to clinical research. It uncovers the problems in medical investigations that can not be overcome no matter how much care and diligence medical researchers bring to a research project. The basic premise that drives the writing is that it is impossible for medical researchers to guarantee that they can get all the right answers from a single study. No matter how good the investigators are, no matter how well a study is planned, no matter how carefully the plans are executed and no matter how conscientiously the results are analyzed and interpreted – the answer may still be wrong. The deck is stacked against medical researchers and the public – you – should be skeptical of the results no matter how impressive they seem on the surface.
