This work is a continuation of Volume I, in style and substance and the work covers various topics. The writing is an anthology of love, decency, sin, greed and immorality. It brings elements into focus so the reader can compare and reconsider his/her own behavior and character. If possible, the work should be viewed and read together with volume I. The writing is not as a simple concept however I am hopeful that it will be effective. Since beginning the work my wife has died, thus I dedicate what I have done to her remembrance. After sixty two years of friendship the loss is incredible, more than one might imagine, difficult to bear. ,br> The writing mentions only a few by name however the reader can participate by adding his/her own choice of personalities. The problem with a work that is critical is that most overlook the element of sin, what is really wrong or they look in the wrong places. Additionally individuals do not want to accept sin. Generally, most people know right from wrong. Since most all people know right from wrong, they rationalize or explain all wrong away as something else. Most everything in this world is wonderful nevertheless a moment of inadvertance can lead to great hardship and sadness. It is important to keep things in a decently formulated order, as they should be and to not let emotions interfere with a decently tranquil existence. This is not easy however is certainly possible.
On the eve of annihilation, we all drank beer and watched the Superbowl. While we watched, those who controlled the worlds wealth and influence slowly strangled our civilization and the people of our wonderful world. But all is not lost to greed, conceit, and immorality, for our world and its people are indeed mostly good. Our human devices, on the other hand, like the bottom line and political power, are all fleeting, temporary, and have only coincidental effect. In Good and Evil Volume III: The Eve of Annihilation, Professor Emeritus and author Robert R. Fiedler challenges us to take another, deeper look at what we accept for fact and leads us in an essential exploration of universal Christianity and Gods universal truth. What can good people do when the wealth and power of public and private institutions are controlled by those with no respect for their fellow man? Where can we look for guidance when men alien to decency have assumed responsible positions in government and finance? The contest is as it has always beencombatting what is evil, loving what is good, and living out, as best we can, our Christ-given human destiny.
In this Volume is considered various things about life and living We will analyze some of what is evil and consider some of the universally good things The World is mostly good however some men have corrupted it with their greed and immorality Lying Fools have captured many important positions and control unimaginable wealth Those control very large segments of the information and publishing industries Those have assumed responsible positions in government and finance Those are the wealthy of today, millionaires and billionaires Much of such wealth is earned from illicit means Those are slowly strangling the Civilization And the people of a wonderful World What can the good people do? Such men are alien to decency They have no respect for their fellow man Those are arrogant and self-assured in their contempt For others of their kind, those are liar’s thieves and hypocrites Those are greedy and sinful men that exploit all manner of opportunity Those are exclusive and stand apart from most other men and they have no shame Some live in the finest places, fit for a King while being less than the lowest of creatures The contest is as it has always been The contest is between God as Father Son and Holy Ghost And the Devil as is found hiding in weak, dull and corruptible men Both exist as an Idea and a Spirit and cannot be discounted. Both are a part of Humanities destiny
