When two huge crop circles were created simultaneously in just one night by a bigfoot in Dorchester, England, and Kansas, investigations from both the United States and England were made. Dr. Jane Nixon and her team led the investigation in the US while Prof. Sheridan and Fallon in UK, both groups are crop formation experts in their respective countries. Meanwhile, Mike and John Williams, who witnessed the intense light from the sky carves the crop circle in a wheat field in Dorchester, England and the Bigfoot who appeared out of the lights, became the main suspects and both were locked up. However, the following night, more crop formations were created all over the world, which ignited panic across the globe, resulting in predictions of the end of the world. Fearing that their anomalies may be revealed, the governments of both countries conspired to suppress the information on the crop formations and decided to seize the investigations of both crop formation experts and rounded up all known witnesses. While the government failed to exterminate Dr. Nixon, She and her team commenced on their mission to solve the mystery in the hopes of finding out the truth and possibly save humanity. Journey through the different historical sites in the world including the Great Pyramid of Egypt and the Incan and Mayan temples and other ancient sites and unveil the mysteries of the Annunaki. Small though they were, PT boats played a key role in World War II, carrying out an astonishing variety of missions where fast, versatile, and strongly armed vessels were needed. Called "weapons of opportunity," they met the enemy at closer quarters and with greater frequency than any other type of surface craft. Among the most famous PT commanders was John F. Kennedy, whose courageous actions in the Pacific are now well known to the American public. The author of the book, another distinguished PT boat commander in the Pacific, compiled this history of PT-boat operations in World War II for the U.S. Navy shortly after V-J Day, when memories were fresh and records easily assessable. The book was first made available to the public in 1962 after Kennedy's inauguration as president of the United States interest in PTs was at a peak. Bulkley provides a wealth of facts about these motor torpedo boats, whose vast range of operation covered two oceans as well as the Mediterranean and the English Channel. Although their primary mission was to attack surface ships and craft close to shore, they were also used effectively to lay mines and smoke screens, to rescue downed aviators, and to carry out intelligence and raider operations. The author gives special attention to the crews, paying well-deserved tribute to their heroism, skill, and sacrifice that helped to win the war.

The evidence is overwhelming that the protection and expansion of slavery was a primary reason for the secession of the Confederate states and the Civil War that followed. While slavery undoubtedly was important, a more fundamental cause was a belief system held in common among the ruling elite. The antebellum South was not only a slave society but also an authoritarian society, shaped by a view of the world as dangerous/competitive, an us vs. them mentality, a dominance/obedience orientation, and closed-mindedness. The authoritarianism of the founding elites, in combination with the travails they experienced on the Southern frontiers, led to oppression, racism, and corruptions in thinking, emotion, and behavior. It also perpetuated the practice of slavery, sparked the Civil War, and left a difficult legacy. In a unique application of contemporary social psychological theory and research to the interpretation of history, this book traces the evolution of Southern authoritarianism from the founding of Virginia in 1606 to the secession of the Confederate states in 1861. In doing so, it examines how belief systems become embedded in a society, act as both consequences and causes of historical events, and have effects that reverberate far into the future.
