This study aims to determine the strengthening of the role of entrepreneurial identity to improve the entrepreneurial identity has a positive influence on entrepreneurial leadership in NA Sidoarjo. The study's design used sample data colletion through a questionnaire, and the sample in members of NA. The collected data were then analyzed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method assisted by PLS. The techniques of determining the sample unit in this study is simple random sampling. From the results of hypothesis testing, that entrepreneur identity has a postive effect on entrepreneurial leadership in NA Sidoarjo. The motivation and entrepreneurial leadership ofmembers to be more innovative in creating their businesses and developing creativity in their business processes.

There has been a proliferation in recent scholarship of studies of monuments and their histories and of theoretical positions that shed light on aspects of their meanings. However, just as monuments mark their territory by attempting to ensure the existence of boundaries, sothese discourses set a boundary between their authority as platforms on which the interpretation of monumental space occurs and, in this respect, the different authority of the novel. This study crosses this boundary by means of dynamic interdisciplinary movements between selected novels by James Joyce, Yukio Mishima, Rashid al-Daif, and Orhan Pamuk, on the one hand, and various theoretical perspectives,history, and cultural geography, on the other. Through the specific choice of literary texts that represent monumental space in a typical post-imperial geopolitical contexts, Monumental Space and the Post-Imperial Novel brings into question many postcolonial paradigms. Sakr establishes a two-way interpretive methodology between theory, history,and cultural geography and the novel that serves as the groundwork for innovative interdisciplinary readings of monumental space.

Diabetes mellitus is an ancient disease that continues to plague modern man. Although the frequency of many serious disorders, such as coronary heart disease, has declined since the 1960's, diabetes rates are approaching epidemic proportions in Westernized countries. Although representing only 10% of cases of diabetes, type 1 diabetes is also rising in frequency. The economic cost of diabetes is staggering, costing the United States more than $100 billion annually. Appropriate management of diabetes requires the efforts of clinicians, laboratorians, and pharmacologists. The goal of this book is to acquaint the laboratorian with the pathophysiology, the diverse etiologies, the complications, the clinical management, and, finally, the diagnostic and routine laboratory evaluation of diabetes.
In education, practitioners are increasingly looking for strategies to bring data and evidence into decisionmaking and to roll out programs in intentional ways that allow for ongoing improvement. This toolkit acts as a guide to improvement strategies for teams of practitioners at colleges, providing them with the knowledge and tools they need to carry out rapid cycles of data-driven improvement. Topics discussed include identifying a problem of practice and objectives for improvement, carrying out Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles, and conducting rapid-cycle evaluation. The toolkit includes tools and tips for practitioners, with a supplement of seven worksheets that colleges can use for planning improvement efforts. The toolkit applies improvement approaches to corequisite remediation, a common initiative being adopted by colleges. Corequisite remediation shifts the way that students are supported in college by allowing them to directly enter a college-level course and receive additional academic support during that same semester to address the challenges they face with basic math, reading, or writing concepts (rather than requiring students to complete a series of developmental education courses). This toolkit was developed for improvement teams made up of administrators, department and faculty chairs, and other college staff who are helping to oversee important initiatives and programs, such as corequisite remediation, and who are looking to build an ongoing process for addressing challenges they face and improving the way that corequisite models are provided through data use and reflection.
This study was designed to fill the "implementation measurement" gap. We developed a methodology to quantitatively measure the level of CSR implementation that can be used across a variety of CSR models, and we then applied this methodology to measure actual implementation of four different CSR models in a large number of schools. The study also compared the extent to which actual practices in curriculum, instruction, governance, grouping of students, assessment of students, and parent involvement differed between schools using these four models and a sample of matched comparison schools that did not use the models.
In an ongoing study, RAND researchers are evaluating the effectiveness of Carnegie Learning0́9s Cognitive Tutor Algebra I (CTAI) curriculum, a technology-based curriculum that combines classroom instruction with individualized instruction by a computer-based tutor. While the effectiveness of the curriculum in raising student achievement is the main focus of the study, the affordability of the curriculum is another factor that districts may wish to consider in deciding whether to adopt it; so, as a complement to the effectiveness study, the authors of this report examined the costs of implementing the CTAI curriculum and comparison algebra I curricula. The authors report on the per-student costs for each curriculum in three categories: materials, which include textbooks and software; software implementation resources, such as computers; and teacher training. They find that, overall, adoption of the CTAI curriculum was likely to cost a district significantly more than what was typically spent on the other algebra I curricula used by participating schools.
For decades, the two-state solution has dominated efforts to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Growing doubts about the viability of the two-state solution raise the question of which, if any, possible alternatives could succeed, if appropriately supported by the international community. RAND researchers conducted 33 focus groups in the region to gather qualitative and quantitative data on the viability of five alternatives: the status quo, the two-state solution, a confederation, annexation, and a one-state solution. The focus groups, conducted in July 2018 and May 2019, collected detailed opinions of more than 270 individuals, including West Bank Palestinians, Gazan Palestinians, Israeli Jews, and Israeli Arabs. These data provide a novel means of investigating whether there are any areas of overlap between Palestinians and Israelis that might form the basis for renewed dialogue. None of the alternatives was acceptable to a majority of both Israelis and Palestinians. The two-state solution was the most politically viable alternative, although all four populations voiced skepticism toward it. The status quo was preferred by Israeli Jews but strongly disliked by Palestinians. West Bank Palestinians' preferred alternative was the two-state solution, while Gazans ranked a one-state solution slightly above the two-state solution. The data highlight the deep distrust and profound animosity of each side for the other. It is hard to imagine a departure from present trends and where they might lead unless and until strong, courageous leadership among Israelis, Palestinians, and the international community articulates a desire for a better future for all.
