Sean McKannah leaves 17th century Ireland aboard a sailing vessel after losing his family to an apartment fire. After traveling several years with his surrogate father-figure, Capt. Mullholland, he bids the sea farewell to try his hand at trapping in the mountains of Northern California above San Francisco with his newfound friend, Francisco. Although successful, the two young men are lured away by Francisco's Uncle to Southern California, to search for wild mustangs to use for breeding wild strength into his soon-to-arrive, high blooded Spanish mares. Following a few years of horse ranching, that pits the two young men and their Mexican ranch hands against Apache Indians and murderous outlaws, Sean marries Francisco's sister Isabella and together they create a successful sheep ranch in Northern California. Their six children, Patrick, Broderick, Simon, Ian, Jesse, and Aleena are the characters that drive the second half of this story. Patrick and Broderick attend the newly formed Harvard Law School ... Simon becomes a man hunter and eventually a Texas Ranger ... Ian, a professional gambler ... Jesse, the driving character, shuns modern society to live with the Flathead Indians ... and Aleena becomes a schoolteacher.
Those who held the power in Florida Government chose to do nothing when thousands of foot long pythons were being illegally sold in pet shops throughout South Florida. Now that pythons as large as a small melon, and up to 20 feet long, have multiplied into a six-figure nightmare, and have spread throughout the only Everglades on Planet Earth, by devouring most of the birds and small animals that Floridians and tourists have enjoyed watching and photographing since cameras were developed, the current politicians are running about like frightened mutts threatened by modern athletes to be tossed into the fighting ring with a pit bull. Their efforts will now be as futile as the mutt's against a trained killer. Those same politicians might soon offer the only sure method to eliminate the pythons. I can hear them now, "We must get rid of the deadly pythons before they begin devouring the people living in South Florida. We must fill in the Everglades. Our marksmen will kill them as they attempt to flee ahead of our fleet of bulldozers." It sounds sad, but there is a good side to this scenario. Tourists will be able to have winter mansions built in what was once the Everglades, and land nearby at the new Everglades International Air Terminal. Tourists with lesser finances will have several new gated communities in which to purchase their winter home, and new golf courses will pop up like tulips to combat boredom. Malls, schools, and universities will materialize, allowing new Floridians to be born in the dry and paved Everglades, and be educated there without ever leaving. Who needs a nasty wilderness like the Everglades? Rumor has circulated that a new NASCAR raceway will begin construction as soon as the Everglades in dried up. What a shame that the 'movers-and-shakers' of the land developer tribes, were held at bay so long. Our forefathers could have enjoyed all of this, if we had just thought to fill in the nasty swamp years ago.

Isotope 322. This stuff's so powerful, Morty, it makes Isotope 465 look like Isotope 317 - Rick on Science There's pros and cons to every alternate timeline.
