They are generally loyal, playful, and affectionate dogs that love to cuddle and make terrific companions. Australian Shepherds make wonderful family pets, provided the family has plenty of time for them. Just like many intelligent dogs, Aussies can become bored easily, especially if they're left alone for extended periods of time. They will chew up virtually anything if they get restless, and are notorious hole diggers and escape artists.

During this period, airlines have adapted to the changes in various ways, many of which have resulted in adaptability issues for airport operators, thus raising the question of "is there a better way" to be more flexible and responsive to airline service changes in good and bad times. From an airline perspective, cost reduction since September 11 has been a prominent focus. From an airport operator perspective, adapting to and accommodating changing flight services by incumbent carriers as well as new entrant services has been a key focus. In recent years, offering more cost-effective solutions to retain or encourage new services in the face of service reductions has become a key focus. Airport operator interests in common use have been heightened by the potential for achieving a reasonable balance between airline and airport operator interests. The implications of transitioning from a traditional model (of airline facility use and leasing focused on dedicated facilities) to common use has elicited varying and, often, conflicting perceptions of benefit and cost.

Speaking of false teachers, the apostle Peter wrote, "They will secretly introduce destructive heresies...Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up" (2 Peter 2:1b-3a). In just the past one hundred years, many American Christians have been falsely led to believe they will be "raptured out," removed by Jesus Christ from this world before his Second Coming or serious tribulation occurs. This flies in the face of the fact that Christians are already enduring torture and are being martyred on a grand scale in many other countries, particularly by radical Muslims. This book, The End of Time, takes an in-depth look into the truths found within the Bible concerning the End Times-truths that have been obviously distorted. Lucifer began distorting the words of God in the Garden of Eden. An unprepared mankind was deceived, and Paradise was lost. The very same Tempter continues to distort the truth concerning the return of Jesus Christ within the walls of the church to this day! Once again, millions of unprepared Christians will be caught off-guard by the manner of the Lord's return in the same way the nation of Israel was taken by surprise at his first arrival in Bethlehem. A rapture and vindication of faithful believers will indeed occur, but will coincide with Christ's return to earth, as the Scriptures clearly indicate. The Lord will then judge this fallen world, reward the faithful, and paradise will be restored. Comparing Scripture with Scripture, the Old Testament with the New Testament, the truths we need to understand concerning the approaching end of time as we know it can be grasped.

This collection of essays is indicative of the years of research that the author has devoted to the Acts of the Apostles. In a very easy style, some of the intriguing episodes in Acts are understood through the lens of ancient literature and the worldview that is reflected in it. The intention is to try and read them as an early Christian might have heard them even if, from a modern perspective, that reading appears quite strange. It is hoped that the modern reader might be intrigued and even inspired to read Acts again and so to explore its strange events and people even more deeply. More broadly, such an exploration might lead to an appreciation that all writings that many Christians now hold as "inspired and authoritative" are deeply embedded in an ancient cultural context.
