The story begins in a centuries old fortification which has been slated for closure by the Government. The site cleanup is almost completed until the discovery of a Civil War relic grinds the operation to a halt. Not even the most advanced technology nor the knowledge to utilize it could ever prepare them for what waits inside. They have no idea as to the true horror they have discovered, until it is too late. Once set free, the evil has no intentions of going away quietly and threatens to consume everything in its path. Will the creatures that are unwittingly released from their long hibernation be the end of humanity or will the Fortress serve those who serve it, once again.
This textbook was finalized during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. For years prior to the pandemic, clinical trials have shown improvement and cures of pulmonary disorders with the intravenous administration of mesenchymal stem cells. These cells are administered into the venous system, pass through the heart, and then lodge in the capillary network of the lungs where they decrease scar tissue and stimulate the regeneration of new lung tissue. The known benefits of cell therapy for pulmonary disease has been the foundation for the use of allogeneic stem cells to effectively treat (and in some cases cure) COVID-19-related lung disorders. Sadly, many of the highly qualified health care professionals caring for these critically ill patients are unfamiliar with the concept of stem cells and regenerative medicine. This unfamiliarity has resulted in patients throughout the world not receiving the benefit of these potentially life-saving treatments. The goal of this textbook is to provide a basic scientific and clinical multispecialty reference source for stem cells and regenerative medicine to be used as an extension of the American College of Regenerative Medicine.™ Chapters focus on basic science as well as the extravascular applications of regenerative medicine for all hard and soft tissues of the body including musculoskeletal and orthopedics, dental and maxillofacial surgery, and dermatology and plastic surgery. Other topics include plasma products such as PRP and PPP, tissue banking, stem cell expansion, and regulatory guidelines. It is our hope that this textbook will assist in the following areas: - Academic institutions will utilize this textbook as a reference source to educate health care professionals of the future, so that regenerative medicine is integrated into the core curriculum and foundation of medical learning. These professionals include medical doctors of all specialties, dentists and maxillofacial surgeons, veterinarians, researchers, nurses, study coordinators, physical therapists, occupational therapists, perfusionists, healthcare and life science attorneys, advocates, administrators, and policy makers. - Practicing health care professionals who have already finished their training will read this textbook with an open mind and understand more about stem cells and regenerative medicine. - To provide a foundation of accurate peer-reviewed scientific and clinical information for patient and industry advocates, as well as those involved in formulation of health care policy.

Rich Mullins was a once-in-a-lifetime singer/songwriter whose impact on Christian music and the church is still felt today, even twenty years after his passing. His words and music softened and inspired the most hardened hearts to believe. His was a ragged and raw faith of a pilgrim, poet, and prophet. Now more than a dozen of today's singers, songwriters, producers, and authors gather to share never-before-heard stories and lessons that continue to influence their music and ministries today. These lessons, gleaned from Rich's own struggles and pursuits, are combined with lyrics from unreleased Rich Mullins songs that will inspire longtime Mullins fans, new Christian music followers, and spiritual seekers trying to understand the reckless love of God.

The Law of Rewards is published in association with Generous Giving, Inc., a ministry of The Maclellan Foundation, which offers practical tools and events designed to transform hearts and minds for revolutionary generosity.
Study the Bible daily for a closer relationship with God. Daily Bible Study is a great companion to the quarterly Adult Bible Studies or as a stand-alone study for those wanting to study the Bible daily. It is presented in quarterly segments. Bible-based and Christ-focused, it coordinates with the lesson themes of Adult Bible Studies. Each daily reading includes a one-page Bible study for each of the quarter, along with introductory reflection questions and commentary on the daily Scripture passage, life application and an concluding prayer. Daily Bible Study, Fall 2022 Theme: Freedom This fall, our Bible lessons follow the theme “Freedom.” The lessons explore the concept of salvation and God’s gracious acts in redeeming us. They challenge we who have experienced God’s gracious salvation to work for freedom and justice on behalf of others. They acknowledge that as we do, we will encounter those whose beliefs and values are different from our own, so they encourage us in ways to remain faithful to our beliefs while we act as neighbors to others. The writers for the fall quarter are Barbara Dick, Randy Cross, and Taylor Mills. Unit 1 Rescue The concept of salvation is broad and inclusive of many divine actions by which we are rescued from the human predicament. This lessons in this unit focus on the freedom to which we are liberated. In the Roman world, the freer you were, the more power you exercised over others. Today, we think of freedom as the ability to do whatever we want without restrictions. In the Bible, freedom is about being able to choose without restriction to whom or what we devote ourselves. Paul described that choice as servitude to sin or becoming a slave to Christ. Scriptures: Exodus 1:1-2:10; Exodus 15:1-18; Exodus 17:1-16; Deuteronomy 30:15-20 Spiritual Practice: Living With Intentionality Unit 2 Justice In the commandments that God gave in the covenant at Sinai, God repeatedly called the Israelites to extend justice and share their blessings with widows, orphans, and strangers in their midst. This triad represented the most vulnerable people within ancient society. Widows, orphans, and strangers appear frequently throughout the Old and New Testament narratives in ways that illustrate this divine mandate. The measure of justice or righteousness found throughout Scripture is whether one cares for the “widow, the orphan, and the stranger.” The lessons in this unit invite us to ask ourselves, who are the most vulnerable in our society? Who in our community are excluded from the common good? Who has trouble providing for themselves or gaining access to the courts and public services? Scriptures: James 2:14-17, Exodus 22:21-27; 1 Kings 17:8-24, Luke 21:1-4; John 9:1-7, 35-38; Luke 18:1-8; Ezekiel 47:21-23 Spiritual Practice: Awareness Unit 3 Faithful Conversations We increasingly find ourselves living in communities and working with people from diverse backgrounds. While we may not agree with the beliefs of others, we seek peaceable and neighborly relationships. This lessons in this unit explore the models for neighborly conversations with people of various faith traditions. Scriptures: Acts 17:16-31; 2 Kings 5:1-19; Exodus 18:1, 13-27; Romans 14:13-19 Spiritual Practice: Listening

How can we be liberated from materialism? What should we do about debt? How much does God want us to give? How can we best help the poor and reach the lost? What about gambling? Investing? Insurance? Saving? Retirement? Inheritance? How can we leave our children a true heritage? How can we use money in ways that God rewards? This practical and refreshing theology of money contains topical and Scripture indexes, a study guide, and five helpful appendices.
