Ubiquitination is an important post-translational modification involved in regulation of a variety of cellular events by degradation, enzymatic activity, or signalosome regulation. Ubiquitin E3 ligases are critical regulators of ubiquitination, as they identify the target and determine the topology of ubiquitination. The TRIM family of ubiquitin E3 ligases belongs to RING family and is characterized by the presence of a tripartite motif (RING, B-Box, and coiled-coil domains). Some members of TRIM family proteins are known to degrade or modulate the activity of various oncogenes and tumor suppressors. TRIM13, an endoplasmic reticulum anchored protein also known as RFP2 and LEU5, is a tumor suppressor which is located at the 13q 14.3 chromosomal region and is deleted in multiple tumor types, especially in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and multiple myeloma (MM). Various studies show that TRIM13 involved in both ERAD pathways (the autophagy–lysosome system and the proteasome system) regulates the cell death pathways and clonogenic ability of the cells. This protein regulates the autophagy pathway by interacting with the autophagy adaptors p62/SQSTM1 and DFCP1. Autophagy is involved in critical decisions regarding cell death and survival, and is thus a critical deciding factor in the process of tumorigenesis. This chapter reviews our work on TRIM13 and tumorigenesis, and gives a future perspective on the role of TRIM13 in tumorigenesis.

This volume is a collection of five papers, written by nine co-authors (listed in the order of the papers): Rajesh Singh, Mukesh Kumar, Manoj Kr. Chaudhary, Cem Kadilar, Prayas Sharma, Florentin Smarandache, Anil Prajapati, Hemant Verma, and Viplav Kr. Singh. In first paper dual to ratio-cum-product estimator is suggested and its properties are studied. In second paper an exponential ratio-product type estimator in stratified random sampling is proposed and its properties are studied under second order approximation. In third paper some estimators are proposed in two-phase sampling and their properties are studied in the presence of non-response. In fourth chapter a family of median based estimator is proposed in simple random sampling. In fifth paper some difference type estimators are suggested in simple random sampling and stratified random sampling and their properties are studied in presence of measurement error.
